The Spud Life - Meeting the giant!

Sup peeps!

So, where were we? Oh yeah, I was still in my kennels at the rescue but by this point I had a barrier between me and the other doggies, they were too scaries so I would just barks at dem.

It was a Wednesday when I firsts met the giant. He was very tall and looked like a giant to mez! So I bark and I bark and then I barked a little mores just so he knew that he can’t hurts mez. The giant then got on his knees but he didn’t looks or talks to mez which was okay. I still wanted hims to knows that he can’t hurts mez so I kept barking and telling him off. I wanted hims to goes aways. He was sat with his backs to me and he didn’t seems to be going aways! Although I still didn’t likes him being theres, I moved to the backs of my kennels and sat. My throats was hurting so I didn’t barks. Then the most amazing things happened, the giant throwed a yummy treats for mez to eat! It was a liver treats and it was scrummy!

The giant moved a few more times, I got a little scared each time and started to barks again. But he wouldn’t move until I stopped and then I got a yummy treats! Meeting the giant on the first day was like nothing I had ever experienced and it mades me very tired. I curled up but still kept an eye on the giant. He then stood up and walked aways. I watched him and was a littles confused, I thoughts to myself, I’ll keep an eye on this one!

Another weeks went by in the kennels when I smelt somethings outside my door…it was the giant! He still didn’t looks at me and just sat down. I started to barks again, surely he was going to hurts me this time? The giant still just sats. I barked more & more and then I stopped cause I was tired. Guess what, I then got another treats! The giants was bringing me mores yummy snacks! I thinks I counted 6 treats that day, I really loved dem treats!

When the giants left, I was even more confused. Can hoomans be nice to doogies?
