Jake & Willy's Blog - Part 2

Posted

Hi again!

It's been so busy here at the offices of PS Pet Tags that we haven't had a chance to update our Blog for a while, we are sorry!

We are been working hard to provide lots of different funky Pet ID Tags and we think we have a pet tag for every pet out there! Whilst there are lots of funny and cute ones we feel that our medical range of pet tags is the most important.

I (Jake!) suffer from a condition which means I have to have a very strict diet. I CANNOT eat cooked chicken; if I ever did I would become very ill. Due to this I always make sure I am wearing my 'Please Do Not Feed Me' Tag so that strangers are aware. On the reverse side of the tag, the humans have put all my contact details so strangers will know who to return me to. By wearing my special tag, strangers are made immediately aware that I have a condition and it will stop them feeding me.

Another important category in our tags is our Rescued Tags. These tags have been especially created for those pets that have been rehomed. We adopted Willy when she was 7 months and she didn't have a great start in life. We will never know what happened to Willy but for some reason she can be very wary of strangers (she loves everyone once she gets to know them!). To make people aware that Willy is a rescued dog, we make sure she always has her special tag on her that says 'Rescued Dog’. We find this is an excellent way to let strangers know that she has a story and may be nervous around new people. It can help strangers understand why perhaps a dog could be acting nervously. It will also help strangers treat her with care.

Come visit us and get wearing our tags! Speak to you soon, woof woof & lick lick!
