Don't forget, once you have decided upon your pets name you have a legal obligation to get a Pet Dog ID Tag or collar for them. The Control of Dogs Order 1992 states that any dog in a public place must wear a collar or tag with the name, address & postcode of the owner on it. Owners are at risk of being fined up to £5,000 if their dog does not wear an identification tag.
